Woodside is a large dwelling dating from the 1930's occupying a picturesque plot near the village of Minstead and located within the New Forest National Park. Design ACB were appointed for a full architectural service to completely refurbish the existing house and to design a two bedroom annex building, a new-build garage and a stable block. Other improvements include a new swimming pool together with hard landscaping and soft planting.
New-build elements are designed as contemporary re-interpretations of traditional out-buildings. As such, the new stables and garage building are constructed from a hand crafted oak frame and clad in timber, while the annex building is rendered to match the main house.
The project is in construction and due for completion in the spring of 2011.
